Wynford’s Scott and Blevins qualify for county spelling bee

Two Wynford Junior High students will represent the Royals in the Crawford County Spelling Bee in January.

Alli Scott is the reigning 2016 Wynford Junior High Spelling Bee Champion and Melissa Blevins finished the night as the runner-up. The bee went 13 rounds with the winning word being ‘rendition’.

The Crawford County Spelling Bee will take place at 7 p.m. on Jan. 12 at the William Crawford Intermediate School.
