North Central Ohio Media Group/Saga Communications is looking for our next Summer Saga Intern. The Saga Intern will be a current college student with an interest in radio broadcasting and content creation. This paid internship requires that the student be a participant in a college internship program for credit and will be required to complete an end of internship summary report/presentation outlining their experience. The Saga Intern will have a primary focus of working with WQEL 92.7FM morning show host Will Beard, Country Legends 1540AM/107.5FM and Crawford County Now and Marion County Now Newsroom with News Director Randy Bigley.

Responsibilities of the internship include but are not limited to:

· Utilizing social media platforms and station websites as an avenue to promote/market the morning shows and their content.

· Having a finger on the pulse of all things happening in North Central Ohio and translating this knowledge into show content through gathering on-site audio/video.

· Identifying and editing content worthy audio for daily use in show segments and promos.

· Managing and screening incoming phone calls for on-air use.

· Video, photos and writing and covering events for the Newsroom.

· Creating traffic, weather, and news reports.
