BUCYRUS—According to reports, a car headed north on State Route 4 near Lemert Road lost control around 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday and hit an SUV headed southbound. Both vehicles went off the road following the crash.
One driver, identified as 34-year-old Latoya Griffea, was killed at the scene. The other driver was flown to St. Vincent’s Hospital.
ODOT shut the roadway down following the crash, and traffic was detoured.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
