BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Ohio State Highway Patrol, in collaboration with local high schools, will conduct a photo shoot at the football field of Colonel Crawford High School on Tuesday, August 13, at 10 a.m. The purpose of the shoot is to create a poster focusing on seat belt usage by students in area schools.

Lieutenant Ty W. Skaggs, the Bucyrus Post Commander of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, shared that the event will feature the coach, Lieutenant Ty W. Skaggs, and a player from each varsity football team in the county. Additionally, a representative from each law enforcement agency in the county will be in attendance.

A previous recipient of the “Saved by the Belt” award will also be present to share their story during the event. The initiative aims to promote the importance of seat belt usage among students and raise awareness about road safety.
