BUCYRUS — An accident near the southeast city limits Friday afternoon is under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

At approximately 12:45 p.m., a car collided with a Red Bull delivery truck at the intersection of Hopley and Beal avenues. According to Bucyrus Police Chief, David Koepke, both drivers sustained injuries and were transported by Portsmouth Ambulance Service to Bucyrus Community Hospital for treatment.

In addition to the OSHP and BPD, Crawford County Sheriff’s deputies and the Bucyrus Fire Department responded.
