Drug investigations at two residences result in arrests

BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—On December 7th, 2023, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and METRICH concluded an investigation into narcotics activity at two separate residences.

 

Search warrants were executed at 715 Dudley St. Bucyrus, Ohio 44820 and at 1726 Marion Rd Apt. D Bucyrus, Ohio 44820. The Crawford County Special Response Team (SRT) comprised of members from the Sheriff’s Office, Bucyrus Police Department, Crestline Police Department, Galion Police Department, and New Washington Police Department, along with the Bucyrus and Galion Fire Departments, carried out the search warrants.

The primary targets of the investigation were Matthew Carroll, 42, and David Adkins, 66. Both individuals, along with Ann Adkins, 64, and Jamie George-Carroll, 40, were arrested. Ann Adkins was later released. During the search, a significant quantity of prescription narcotics and drug paraphernalia was discovered.

All individuals have been transported to the Crawford County Justice Center and are currently facing charges of trafficking in prescription medications. The Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office will review the reports for potential additional charges.

The investigation into this case is ongoing, led by detectives from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.
