Chief Rodriguez reports capture of Murrell

GALION—Galion City Police Chief Marc Rodriguez reported that John Murrell was apprehended during a traffic stop on Friday. In a statement to Crawford County Now, Rodriguez said:

“Just wanted to follow up with you regarding the pursuit involving John Murrell. On February 4th, at approximately 5:42 pm, one of our officers made a traffic stop of a vehicle in the area of Harding Way East and Gelsanliter Rd. for improper display of plates. During the course of the stop, John Murrell was identified as a passenger in the vehicle. Murrell was arrested without incident on an outstanding warrant that was issued by the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office. The report is being forwarded to the Crawford County Prosecutor’s office for further review and consideration of applicable charges.”
