Suspect identified in hit-and-run accident involving Bucyrus Cyclist

BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The suspected driver in the hit-and-run accident that left a cyclist injured has been identified by the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department.

Thomas Moon, a 68-year-old resident of Bucyrus, Ohio, was the cyclist involved in the collision.

According to reports, Moon was riding his bike on Stetzer Rd. when he was struck by a vehicle traveling in the same direction. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene, leaving Moon injured.

Moon received treatment at Bucyrus Community Hospital and was later transferred to Med Central Hospital for further care.  His injuries are not life-threatening.
