Authorities seek public’s help to capture four fugitives in Northern Ohio

MANSFIELD, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering rewards for information leading to the capture of four fugitives: Timothy Deskins, Betty Viars, Richard Keaton, and Dorrien Smith.

Timothy Deskins

Timothy Deskins, 41, is wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service, the Mansfield Police Department for domestic violence, and the Adult Parole Authority for a probation violation on the original charges of aggravated burglary and aggravated robbery. Deskins is described as a white male with a bald head and blue eyes, standing 5 feet, 4 inches tall. He has ties to Mansfield and Crestline.

Betty Viars

Betty Viars, 39, is wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service and the Adult Parole Authority for a probation violation on the original charge of involuntary manslaughter. Viars is described as a white female with brown hair and blue eyes, standing 5 feet, 3 inches tall. She has ties to Mansfield.

Richard Keaton

Richard Keaton, 62, is wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service and the Richland County Sheriff’s Office on a strangulation charge. Keaton is described as a black male with black hair and blue eyes, standing 5 feet, 9 inches tall. He has ties to Mansfield.

Dorrien Smith

Dorrien Smith, 45, is wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service, the Richland County Sheriff’s Office for escape, and the Adult Parole Authority for a probation violation on the original charge of aggravated robbery. Smith is described as a black male with brown hair and brown eyes, standing 6 feet, 4 inches tall. He has ties to Mansfield and Marion.

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force urges anyone with information on the whereabouts of these individuals to contact them at 1-866-4WANTED or text the keyword WANTED and a tip to 847411 (tip411). Tipsters can remain anonymous, and reward money is available.
