The National Weather Service in Cleveland has changed a Winter Storm Watch to a Winter Storm Warning for northern Ohio as well as the northwest and north central parts of the state.
Currently the storm warning is in effect from 7 o’clock this morning until 7 o’clock Wednesday night. Accumulations are expected to be 2 to 4 inches today, 3 to 5 inches tonight with more snow expected Wednesday.
The highest accumulations are expected in the northwest. High winds causing blowing and drifting are expected to accompany the storm.
Bucyrus Mayor Dan Ross is reminding residents of the Emergency Snow Ban on designated streets. Parking is prohibited on those streets to allow snowplows to clear them.
