U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown of Ohio is expected to announce his support of the expansion of a tax credit program to boost the creation of clean energy jobs.
Brown and seven executives of Ohio companies will make the announcement today at the Ohio Manufacturers Association in Columbus. The tax credit is part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and has provided $125 million dollars to Ohio manufacturers.
The tax credit is set to expire and Brown is pushing to extend the Advanced Energy Manufacturing Tax Credit.
